For a multi-generational project the client wanted outdoor space like in a village. To achieve that spacially, a loose arrangement of buildings are placed around a square that serves as a contact space. Towards the lake and oriented towards the sun, the volumes open up to a stacked porch. The two-sided apartments are characterized by an open-plan space, which leads diagonally from the entrance to the living room and the kitchen. The reduction to the supporting material wood opens up the possibility of playing out the keyboard of the timber construction in its entire formal variety.
