At Zurich Affoltern
Built in the 1980s, gets the apartment building now renovated for the first time. To give more width to the tightly structured floor plan aisle, kitchen and living are combined into one area. The apartments are in a cheap rental segment, the visible columns and beams were a selection of economical reasons. They shape the impression of the space and give the apartments a loft-like atmosphere. Connected to the open space are the wet cells and the kitchens like glacier-colored niches.
