In San Francisco
The pier of swissnex in San Francisco is used for various purposes. The gallery space can be divided by five large curtains that create a variety of atmospheric environments, from spacious and open to intimate and engaging. The pictures printed on the curtains show environments of spaces that have an impact on society, but in which one would not normally meet. Each spave was given an unexpected material, opening up a field of narratives and interpretations.
Openness and transparency is not only given by transparent materials but rather by the gesture of opening up a space for someone.
