The House Stauffacher stands at the entrance into the village. Built around 1900, completely in wood and paint, it was damaged and tilted over the years due to decisions that went against its construction. NDA removed all later additions and restored the house to its original condition, both inside and out. Thanks to the paint analysis by Fontana + Fontana, it was found out that the exterior had a gray paint, mimicking a transformation of the pure timber structure into a stone building. Inside reflected ceiling plans were reveiled and partly restored.
